Awesome little neighborhood market. Fresh veggies, nice meat, fish, poultry section and the "norms" one would expect at a neighborhood market... Close to the house so that's a definite plus... Good peeps inside and a very nice bakery department as well!!!
Wanted to give thanks to the older, bald gentleman, I believe a manager or supervisor at this store. While leaving the store, the handle on my reusable cloth bag broke. I turned to ask him if they sold any reusable bags inside, so that I could buy one. He said yes, and went inside to get me one. He returned and gave it to me for free! I realize this might not seem like a big deal but it was a very nice thing to do. I come here primarily for the meats + produce. I also enjoy their freshly baked sweet breads, cookies and whatnot. This was also the only store in San Pedro, where I could find canned oysters, which I needed for a recipe, a few years ago. I tried 5-6 different major/chain grocery stores throughout town and nobody had them. Thanks, Numero Uno!
